Billingham 207 - Sage / Chocolate

The Billingham 207 sits in the middle of the 7 Series in terms of width but is identical in overall design to its siblings the 107 and 307. Its main flap has a central, double layered, waterproof seam which gives the bag a distinctive rounded look. This is isn't just decorative - by extending over the ends of the bag, it also provides excellent protection from dust and weather.

Like the rest of the 7 Series the 207 is exclusively made in FibreNyte which has the look and feel of canvas and even better wear resistance.

The Quick Release System tabs with flared ends make for fast opening and secure closure, even in difficult conditions. With the rain flap pulled back and the main compartment zip opened, you will notice another distinctive feature of the 7 Series bags - they are held wide open by the Billingham PressTop. This comprises 2 specially shaped fibreglass and aluminium wands which shape the fabric into a wide rectangle once the zip is pulled fully back - just like the opening of a 'doctors bag'.

With the bag closed you'll notice the main webbing hand straps are secured by heavy stitching into a leather reinforcing strip at the back and the shoulder strap is stitched into the strong leather side panels. And with the bag open you'll see other details that make all the difference - 2 internal leather grab handles?mean you can carry it safely without closing it. For extra flexibility the front handle can even be unclipped and removed if required.

At the back there is a full-length, zipped rear pocket?? which is hidden by an extension of the main flap. This helps to maintain the bag's smooth lines and protects the zip from bad weather. At the front of course are 2 deep dump pockets.

For stability and to prevent the bag tipping or rocking the ends of the shoulder strap feature an inverted 'Y' shaped Delta shape at their base. Not only that but the wide shoulder strap and included SP50 shoulder pad help add comfort while walking around with the bag.

Need extra space? You can fit our optional Delta pockets to the base of the shoulder strap. Also incorporated into the main leather strapping are holes to take our tripod carry straps.
